RN - Med Surg- PRN

Role:

Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit, responsible for providing patient care using the nursing process.

Deliver quality patient care, evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members, coordinate patient treatment with other departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. Perform duties aligned with organizational standards, values, and mission.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred:
  Prior hospital experience, BSN, specialty certifications, or additional licensure.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.

Medical 7W cares for adult patients with conditions like pneumonia, UTI, chest pain, COPD, and COVID, emphasizing cardiac rhythm interpretation and acute medical care.
