Position Overview: The Charge Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care based on theoretical concepts and standards of practice.
Responsibilities include:Providing direct patient care, ensuring compliance with nursing protocols, and maintaining high-quality standards in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Qualifications:Must have a nursing degree (associate's, diploma, or BSN), current RN licensure within the state or compact licensing, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, or other unit-specific credentials may be required based on the department.
Skills &Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
