Outpatient Oncology Infusion Nurse

Role Purpose

Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and caregivers, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Adheres to safety protocols, maintaining alertness and safe work practices at all times.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.

  Valid RN license.

  No experience required; less than 2 years experience preferred.

The role involves working in an outpatient cancer care setting, administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products, with various start times and a sign-on bonus eligibility.
