Licensed Practical Nurse Part Time Rehab Hospital, Nights

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for part-time night shifts at our Rehab Hospital. In this role, you'll deliver direct bedside care, administer medications, and support patients through their rehabilitation journey. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you'll monitor patient status, document care accurately, and uphold safety and infection-control standards. Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to rehab hospital patients during night shifts, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, and assisting with ADLs
• Implement and document physician orders, treatments, and rehabilitation plans in accordance with Mercy policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians to support individualized care plans and safe patient transitions
• Accurately document patient status, responses to treatment, and report significant changes promptly
• Maintain infection control, safety, and fall prevention protocols in a fast-paced inpatient rehab setting
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and rehabilitation goals
• Operate and maintain clinical equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness and proper use
• Participate in interdisciplinary huddles, shift handoffs, and quality improvement initiatives
