Telemetry RN

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry RN to provide comprehensive patient care in a telemetry unit, focusing on cardiac monitoring and assessment. Key responsibilities include interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering treatments, assisting with procedures, monitoring patient safety, documenting care, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The role requires strong clinical skills in telemetry nursing, critical thinking, excellent communication, and adherence to safety and ethical standards.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs to detect abnormalities
• Administer medications and treatments specific to cardiac care
• Support cardiac procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Observe and record patient responses, notifying physicians as needed
• Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies
• Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care

• At least one year of recent telemetry nursing experience
• Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Proficiency in reading instructions, documentation, and PC use
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain focus, and handle irregular activity
