Role OverviewThe Cardiac Cath Lab Assistant Nurse Manager oversees patient care, staff management, and operational functions within the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Key Responsibilities- Manage staffing, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Ensure departmental productivity, budget adherence, and resource management.
- Coordinate patient care, develop collaborative care plans, and document interventions.
- Supervise staff scheduling, payroll, and communication efforts.
- Maintain equipment and support a safe, efficient work environment.
- RN license required with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 2-5 years of nursing experience; 5-10 years preferred.
- No supervisor experience required, but less than 2 years supervisory experience is preferred.
- BLS/ACLS certification required or obtained within 90 days.
- Preferred experience includes cardiac cath or electrophysiology lab work, or procedural/critical care nursing.
