Experience: Minimum 2 years of adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience

What You’ll Do

Assist in adult cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, ascending aortic procedures, and emergent dissections
Support intraoperative procedures such as sternotomy, chest tube and pacing wire placement
Participate in complex operative cases, including redo sternotomies and mechanical circulatory support procedures
Collaborate with a team of cardiac surgeons and intensivists
Provide perioperative patient care and support surgical team as first assist
Follow OR protocols, maintain sterile field, and ensure patient safety

What You Need

Valid Missouri state license
BLS certification
At least 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience
Strong knowledge of cardiothoracic procedures and surgical equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
