Role OverviewResponsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for surgical patients.

Uses evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs, ensuring safety and quality care.
Provides timely updates to physicians regarding patient conditions and participates in all areas of surgical services as needed.
Maintains a safe environment and demonstrates sound clinical judgment, escalating issues appropriately.
Qualifications & Skills- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
- Current RN license in applicable states or compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
- No prior experience required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Physical ability to perform standing, walking, lifting, and other physical tasks required in nursing.
- Accept patient care assignments and communicate effectively with the team.
- Assess patient needs, involve families, and provide education.
- Document care and patient responses accurately and promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently.
- Evaluate care effectiveness through ongoing assessments and follow-up calls.
- Make clinical decisions and elevate when necessary.
- Maintain a safe environment and adhere to universal protocols.
