Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience

What You’ll Do:

Assist with Adult Cardiothoracic and Cardiac Surgery procedures including CABG, valve repairs, ascending aortic surgeries, and more
Support surgical teams in the operating room as first assist
Perform chest tube placements, temporary pacing wires, and endoscopic vein harvesting
Manage emergent cases such as dissections and redo sternotomies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR system

What You Need:

Valid Missouri RN license and board certification in Nurse Practitioner
BLS certification required; RNFA preferred
At least 2 years of adult cardiac OR first assist experience
Strong clinical skills in adult cardiac procedures and patient management
Ability to work night shifts and participate in rotating call schedule
