Compensation: $145,000-$165,000+ per year, based on experience

A leading multi-specialty outpatient healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Operations & Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee both clinical operations and nursing services within a busy ambulatory surgery and specialty practice environment.

The organization provides care across Interventional Pain Management, Orthopedics, Neurology, and Plastic Surgery and is committed to high-quality, patient-centered care.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a nursing professional who can combine clinical leadership, ASC operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational efficiency.

• Oversee nursing and clinical operations across pre-op, OR, PACU, and outpatient clinic services
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate RNs, surgical technicians, and clinical support staff
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, quality improvement, and clinical best practices
• Maintain readiness for CMS, state, and AAAHC/accreditation surveys
• Oversee staff orientation, competencies, education, and performance evaluations
• Improve patient flow, scheduling, room turnover, and overall clinical efficiency
• Manage clinical supplies, inventory, equipment, and surgical resources
• Assist with budgeting, labor management, and supply cost control
• Partner with physicians, anesthesia providers, administration, and clinical teams
• Support operational growth while maintaining high standards of patient care
• Address clinical and operational issues and promote a positive team environment

• BSN required
• MSN, MHA, MBA, or related graduate degree preferred
• Active, unencumbered Missouri RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• CNOR or comparable nursing leadership certification is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of progressive clinical leadership/management experience
• Experience in an ASC, outpatient surgical center, hospital perioperative department, or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of perioperative and ambulatory nursing operations
• Experience with or strong clinical familiarity with orthopedics, spine/neuro, interventional pain management, or plastic surgery
• Experience preparing for or successfully navigating AAAHC, CMS, or state regulatory surveys
• Understanding of healthcare compliance, EMR systems, and ASC operations
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality

• $145,000-$165,000+ annual salary, depending on experience
