Registered Nurse - Cardiac Progressive Care

Role: Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU)

• Providing comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to adults with complex cardiac conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses, with prompt intervention
• Administering medications, treatments, and procedures accurately
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Educating patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring patient safety
• Delivering compassionate care aligned with organizational values

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license (state-specific)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Experience in cardiac, telemetry, PCU, or critical care nursing
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (if applicable)

• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and assessment skills
• Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
