Assistant Nurse Manager - Stepdown; Nights

Role Overview

This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing statistical data collection.

• Manage staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.
• Participate in developing departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets; ensure adherence to financial goals.
• Provide and oversee patient care aligned with age and developmental needs, documenting according to policy.
• Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Review staff hours, manage payroll updates, reconcile time cards, and coordinate staff communications and meetings.
• Determine staffing needs, assign nursing duties, manage overtime, and conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

• Educational requirement:
  Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; preferred Bachelor's in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  2-5 years; supervisory experience preferred for advanced roles.

  Certifications:
  
  Active RN license.

Leadership or charge experience is preferred, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to support department operations and patient care excellence.
