The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports team management activities such as hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and professional development. Responsibilities include managing staffing, budget adherence, resource management, and promoting compliance with organizational standards to deliver excellent patient care.
Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree, RN licensure, and 2-5 years of experience. Preferred qualifications are a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, and supervisory experience of less than 2 years. Formal RN leadership experience and a BSN are desirable.
Key duties encompass staff management, overseeing departmental productivity, developing care plans, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires leadership, communication, and organizational skills to support operational goals and high standards of patient care.
