Seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor in an OB Emergency Department to lead clinical teams, ensure high-quality patient care, and support families during critical moments.
Key Responsibilities Include- Coordinating patient placement and staff assignments for safe, efficient care
- Supporting clinical staff with patient care and unit operations
- Serving as a resource for nurses, patients, and families
- Supervising clinical activities and responding to changing patient conditions
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Participating in staff education, onboarding, and quality initiatives
- Managing departmental operations such as staffing, scheduling, and resources
- Maintaining equipment, inventory, and unit environment
- Representing the department in committees and organizational projects
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Active RN license (or compact license)
- Minimum of 2 years patient care experience
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire; additional certifications like ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be needed
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in OB, emergency, or high-acuity settings
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
