Role: Provides nursing care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient treatment, with a focus on vascular access.
Responsibilities: Supports patient and family needs, collaborates with healthcare teams, individualizes care plans, performs intravenous insertions, utilizes medical equipment, interprets policies and lab results, monitors and documents patient conditions, and communicates effectively.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid RN license, and relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, oncology, infusion therapy, vascular access). Experience not required.
Skills: Strong clinical assessment, teamwork, communication, and safety awareness. Ability to handle equipment and interpret medical data.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting, reaching, vision, hearing, and occasional patient movement.
Additional Requirements: Valid licenses and certifications specific to each state (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin). Day shift, PRN status, and eligibility for benefits such as parental leave and tuition coverage.
