Registered Nurse – Surgical Progressive Care

Role Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, ensuring accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by team members. Coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and aligns duties with organizational standards and values.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN)

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in the relevant state or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP, or others as required based on department
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform bending, reaching, kneeling, and twisting activities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and safety standards
• Maintain necessary certifications and licensure to meet department requirements
