Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a pediatric emergency setting within a designated trauma center, treating nearly 50,000 children annually.

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to nursing standards.
• Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment needs.
• Participating in safety, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural factors.

• RN licensure required;
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in pediatric acute care or emergency department is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work safely and attentively in a high-pressure environment.
