Acute Medicine Nurse Manager

Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care provides specialized patient care on a 24-bed unit, managing a diverse patient population including Med Surg and occasional trach cases.
Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care, oversee staff performance, and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Manage personnel, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Support departmental staffing, budgeting, and operational goals.
• Lead collaborative care planning based on assessments and medical treatment.
• Ensure compliance with policies, document interventions, and oversee staff scheduling and payroll.
• Promote a safe environment and foster team collaboration.

• BSN degree required.
• 2-5 years RN experience, with preferred 5-10 years.
• Active RN license.
• Leadership and staff management capabilities are advantageous.
