Role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides specialized, high-quality care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Manage patient care, coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts, and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
- Supervise staff by hiring, training, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.
- Participate in staffing, budget development, and resource management to meet operational goals.
- Ensure documentation and compliance with policies, and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support a diverse team, including assigning nursing duties and overseeing productivity.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and active RN licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience; preferred 5-10 years with some supervisory experience.
- Experience in Emergency Department preferred; leadership skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic setting required.
Oversee patient care delivery, staff supervision, operational efficiency, and compliance within a Level I Trauma Center environment.
