Registered Nurse; RN; Operating Room

Role:

The Assistant Nurse Manager, OR is responsible for overseeing operations in the operating room, managing staff, and ensuring quality patient care.

• Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff, ensuring departmental productivity and performance aligns with organizational goals.
• Manage staffing needs, coordinate schedules, and oversee daily operations, including payroll and performance reviews.
• Coordinate patient care by developing collaborative care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Maintain equipment, monitor staff productivity, and support budget development and adherence.
• Lead staff communication, conduct performance evaluations, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience, with preferred additional experience in leadership roles.
• Experience in OR settings and supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

The role involves managing a large OR, including robotic surgery, and supporting operational and quality improvement initiatives.
