The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. This role requires completion of a nursing program and obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment. The position involves educating patients and families on managing illnesses, using critical thinking to evaluate needs, developing and adjusting care plans, and promoting patient safety and quality care.
Candidates must have a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Educating patients and families on health management and post-treatment care
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients
- Collaborating on care plans to deliver patient-centered care
- Monitoring patient responses and modifying care as needed
- Participating in safety, quality, and professional development activities
