Role: Cardiac Surgery PCU Registered Nurse
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to post–cardiac surgery patients in a progressive care setting.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor hemodynamics and telemetry data.
- Administer medications and manage post-operative complications.
- Support early recovery and patient stabilization.
- Educate patients and families about their care and recovery process.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based, high-quality care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.
- Engage in ongoing training within a research-connected health system committed to excellence, diversity, and community impact.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Experience or knowledge in cardiac surgery or cardiovascular care preferred.
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and medication administration skills.
- Ability to manage post-operative complications effectively.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous learning.
