Join Christian Hospital as an RN House Supervisor and play a vital role in hospital-wide operations, staffing, patient flow, and clinical leadership. In this highly visible leadership position, you’ll serve as the go‑to resource for nursing teams, physicians, patients, and families while helping ensure safe, efficient, and exceptional care throughout the hospital.
Position Highlights & Responsibilities- Hospital‑wide leadership role with broad exposure to operations and nursing leadership
- Oversee staffing, patient placement, admissions, transfers, throughput, and bed management
- Serve as the leadership resource during patient escalations, rapid responses, codes, falls, and safety events
- Partner with nursing leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support daily operations
- Address patient and family concerns and provide service recovery support
- Coach, mentor, and support staff through real‑time challenges
- 3 x 12‑hour night shifts
- Holiday rotation includes one summer and one winter holiday annually

- BSN
- Current RN licensure
- Minimum 5 years of acute care RN experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Prior charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
- Diverse inpatient background across multiple specialties
- Experience with staffing coordination, patient throughput, bed management, or float pool operations
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and conflict‑resolution skills

The Nursing Resources Department is responsible for the 24 management of the major functions over nursing, clerical, and ancillary staff.
Preferred Qualifications Role PurposeThe House Supervisor is delegated the authority and responsibility for administrative supervision of patient care and other hospital departments, serving as a representative of Administration in the absence of the Administrator during off shifts. Acts as a liaison with departments and/or consults with Administrator on call to handle unusual circumstances, appropriate resources, and investigate and resolve clinical problems/complaints.
