Assistant Nurse Manager – Medical ICU – Evening

Seeking a compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee a 42-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit. This leadership role supports the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high standards of patient care. The ANM acts as a mentor, resource, and clinical leader to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage staff: hiring, training, performance evaluations, professional development, and staffing assignments.
• Ensure patient care aligns with planned interventions, documentation, and collaborative care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
• Participate in budget development, monitor staffing productivity, and respond to operational needs.
• Lead staff communication, conduct performance reviews, and address disciplinary actions.
• Maintain a safety-conscious environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and RN licensure.
• 2+ years of RN experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• ICU experience and prior supervisory experience are advantageous.
