Assistant Nurse Manager – Acute Internal Medicine – Evening Shift

Role Overview: The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager in overseeing daily operations, clinical care, staff development, and maintaining high patient care standards within an Acute Internal Medicine Unit. The ANM serves as a clinical leader, mentor, and resource to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

• Manage staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Coordinate patient care planning and ensure implementation based on assessment and medical treatment.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and productivity to meet operational goals.
• Participate in budget development and ensure adherence to financial targets.
• Lead staff meetings, communicate updates, and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with policies.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• 2+ years of RN experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
