Position Summary:

The Pediatric GI Motility RN will support the Motility program is Children s Hospital. Motility is the synchronized, wave-like movement of the muscles pushing food through your digestive system. Motility disorders, or dysmotility, is when the muscles do not function as they should, causing a range of health problems. Motility disorders can affect any part of the GI tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, large bowel and sphincter.

Motility disorders are commonly associated with a change in the balance of the gut Microbiome such as small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Our team works with patients to develop a personalized treatment plan that targets the source of the problem.

  • At least 2 years of nursing experience

  • 40 hours/week; days
  • Schedule:
    • Monday:  (if staying late for long cath placement) or
    • Tuesday:  (if coming in early to start long study) or
