Clinical Nurse – Outpatient Infusion

This position involves providing direct patient care in an outpatient oncology infusion setting, with a focus on chemotherapy, blood products, IV hydration, and port care. The nurse will develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in professional development.
• Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Utilize critical nursing skills, including IV insertion and port access, to deliver infusion therapies.
• Maintain communication across care teams, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Required:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, RN license, and relevant clinical experience; oncology experience preferred.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, critical thinking, and IV skills.
