Assistant Nurse Manager – Stepdown; Nights

This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, overseeing equipment maintenance, and tracking statistical data. It requires managing staff by hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development to ensure departmental goals are met. The role includes participating in staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes to meet financial targets.

• Manage staff performance, conduct evaluations, and facilitate professional growth.
• Develop and adhere to departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets.
• Provide patient care tailored to age and developmental needs, documenting accordingly.
• Create collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
• Review staff hours, approve payroll, and coordinate staff communication and scheduling, including overtime and performance reviews.
• Ensure departmental productivity and operational efficiency in alignment with leadership directives.

• Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree;
  Bachelor’s preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience is preferred, with 5-10 years for advanced roles.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Charge or leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage staff, budgets, and patient care effectively.
