Acute Medicine Registered Nurse; PRN); Nights

This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in activities promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate patient status and ensure effective communication across care teams.
• Contribute to a healing environment through patient education and safety initiatives.

• Minimum:
  Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN license; no prior experience required.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Unit manages a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical and occasional trach patients.
