Clinical Nurse – PACU Weekend Option

This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, with a focus on recovery for neuro, transplant, orthopedic, ENT, cardiac, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and spine patients. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on post-treatment management, and participation in safety and quality initiatives. Nurses will develop and implement individualized care plans, assess physical and psychosocial needs, and communicate effectively across the care continuum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care adhering to standards and promoting safety.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, medication, and post-discharge care.
• Participate in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and professional development activities.
• Assess patient needs holistically, considering emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific factors.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Licensure:
  Valid RN license.
• Experience:
  
  No prior experience required; 2+ years and supervisory experience preferred.
• Critical care experience is advantageous.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills required.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness is essential.
