Medical​/Oncology – Clinical Nurse; Nights

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.

Adheres to safety protocols as this position is safety-sensitive.

Requires a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree with RN licensure; no prior experience necessary, though a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience are preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills are essential. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment is important.

The role involves night shifts, with 3-12 hour shifts, including every third weekend and holiday, using modified self-scheduling within six-week periods.
