Join a Central Staffing Office as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN) and provide high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple hospitals within the system.
In this role, you will support 11 hospitals in Missouri and Illinois (excluding Children’s Hospital), practicing exclusively in the Emergency Department.
Key responsibilities include:- Floating across 12 hospitals, delivering direct patient care, and assessing and planning individualized care based on nursing expertise.
- Utilizing evidence-based practice, advocating for patients, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe, ethical, and culturally sensitive care.
- Participating in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and professional development activities.
- Mentoring colleagues and fostering a positive work environment.
- Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience (trauma and float experience preferred).
- Current RN license in Missouri with ability to obtain Illinois license.
- Willingness to travel between facilities.
- Strong adaptability, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety.
- Education:
ADN, BSN, or MSN; TNCC certification preferred.
