Responsibilities of Wound Care Nurse / LPN (WCC, WOCN):Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.
- Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
- Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.
Wound Care Nurse / LPN (WCC, WOCN) duties include medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents' care, and implementation of schedules for residents.
You'll be great to join our Wound Care team because you have...- Some wound care experience preferred.
- Certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum Experience:
One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
