Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a 25-bed acute care unit, primarily managing Med Surg and occasionally trach patients. The role includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within established standards, promoting patient and family-centered care, and educating on illness management and post-treatment needs. It requires participation in safety, quality, and professional development activities, as well as developing and communicating individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Ensure a healing environment by educating patients and families.

• Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure.
• No prior experience required, but two years of experience is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
