Clinical Nurse BMT Oncology

This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized oncology unit, focusing on patients undergoing chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, and related treatments. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with established standards. The role emphasizes promoting patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and ongoing professional development.
• Provide education on post-treatment care, medication administration, and support for complex medical interventions.

• Required:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree, RN license.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
