Assistant Nurse Manager – GYN Oncology

This position involves coordinating patient care in a specialized 24-bed unit focused on female-related issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing patient interventions, ensuring safety, and maintaining equipment and documentation. The role entails hiring, training, performance evaluation, and fostering a collaborative environment to support optimal patient outcomes.

• Manage personnel, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and ensuring departmental goals are met.
• Develop staffing plans, monitor productivity, and oversee departmental budgets and resource utilization.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care tailored to age and developmental needs, following established care plans and documenting appropriately.
• Lead staff communication, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including working in a safety-sensitive environment.

• 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience preferred with 5-10 years of overall experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
