Role Overview

This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and develop staff to meet departmental goals.
  • Participate in staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes.
  • Provide direct patient care aligned with age and developmental needs, documenting interventions.
  • Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and treatment.
  • Manage staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure safety protocols for staff and patients are followed.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • 2-5 years of RN experience; supervisor experience preferred for advanced roles.
  • Current RN licensure.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
