Provides comprehensive pre/post-operative nursing care for patients with peripheral vascular disease, including surgeries such as aneurysm repairs, carotid procedures, dialysis access, thrombolysis, and bypasses.
Utilizes critical thinking and clinical expertise to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, RN licensure, and certification in BLS, ACLS, and arterial line monitoring. Preferred qualifications are a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience.
