This position involves providing direct patient care in a dynamic PACU environment, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions within established standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on post-treatment management, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans. Critical thinking and assessment skills are essential to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
Responsibilities:- Ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs, develop care plans, and communicate effectively across the continuum of care.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
- Education:
Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Licenses/Certifications:
Active RN license. - Experience:
No experience necessary; two years of experience and supervisor experience are preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment involving surgical and ICU care.
