Acute Medicine Registered Nurse; PRN); Nights

This position involves providing direct patient care in a 26-bed acute care unit specializing in medical-surgical and occasional tracheostomy patients. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, while promoting patient safety and education.

Key duties encompass educating patients and families on illness management, ensuring communication across care transitions, and addressing physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs. The role emphasizes professional development and adherence to standards of nursing care in a safety-sensitive environment.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
