Provides direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Utilizes critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs of patients.
Ensures effective communication across care continuum and advocates for patient-centered care.
- BSN or ADN required; RN license necessary
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least 2 years of experience - Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment
- Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration
- Participate in activities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance
- Develop, implement, and document personalized care plans with team collaboration
- Assess and address physical, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural needs
