Learn more at  Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled QC Instrument Metrologist to join our Quality Control team.

This role is responsible for the qualification, calibration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of analytical instruments in a GMP‑regulated laboratory and manufacturing environment. The Metrologist ensures instrumentation compliance with regulatory standards, minimizes equipment downtime, and upholds data integrity across QC operations. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
* Supervise day‑to‑day QC instrumentation activities, including scheduling calibrations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
* Ensure all QC and manufacturing instruments are qualified, calibrated, and maintained per SOPs and GMP requirements
* Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on equipment including pH meters, moisture analyzers, balances/scales, particle size analyzers, FTIR, and magnet pull testing
* Lead and support instrument qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), requalification, and decommissioning activities
* Serve as a liaison with vendors for repairs, service, and qualification support
* Maintain accurate instrument documentation including calibration records, usage logs, and deviation reports
* Lead or support investigations related to equipment failures, data integrity concerns, or OOS results related to instrument performance
* Support change controls, deviations, CAPAs, and other quality system documentation related to instrumentation
* Train and mentor QC analysts on proper instrument usage, troubleshooting, and care
* Participate in audits and regulatory inspections, providing instrument‑related documentation and support
* Collaborate with IT and validation teams on computerized system validation and data integrity compliance
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to instrumentation or workflows Education, Experience & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field
* Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience, including 3+ years in instrumentation‑focused roles
* Strong knowledge of analytical laboratory instrumentation (e.g., Particle Size Analyzers, FTIR, Karl Fischer, Moisture Analyzers, pH meters)
* Familiarity with GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, USP , and data integrity principles
* Hands‑on experience with instrument qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and validation
* Proficiency with quality systems including deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Our Offer
