Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Engineer to support construction projects by ensuring compliance with quality standards, project specifications, industry regulations, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction QA/QC, quality management systems, and construction inspection processes.

Construction Quality Engineer

St. Louis, MO (Onsite)

1 Year (Possible extension)

$60 - $65/hr

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans for construction projects.
• Conduct routine site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, material submittals, and quality records.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor construction activities to verify adherence to quality requirements and industry best practices.
• Perform root cause analysis on quality deficiencies and recommend preventive measures.
• Prepare and maintain detailed quality reports, records, and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to construction quality processes.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on QA/QC procedures and quality standards.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and models to ensure construction quality compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline), Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality standards, and inspection processes.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and industry standards, including ISO 9001.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Management Professional (QMP), or similar certification.
• Experience supporting Life Sciences, GMP-regulated facilities, pharmaceutical, biotech, or cleanroom construction projects.
• Experience working in highly regulated construction environments.
