Sample Control Technician

We have an opening for a Sample Control Technician. The skills and responsibilities include:

• Receiving and cataloging customer‑supplied samples for analysis.
• Storing samples prior to/post‑analysis until scheduled disposal per customer requirements and maintain inventory.
• Generating chain of custody forms when required for regulated projects.
• Return samples to customers post‑analysis by request.
• Package and direct shipping analysis samples for out‑source services.
• Maintaining chemical inventory.
• Assist with ordering lab supplies and office supplies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned or required.
• Work comfortably in a fast‑paced environment with firm deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Experience with database entry.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Laboratory Health & Safety.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Position is full‑time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of St. Louis, MO are encouraged to apply.
