We are currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for sampling, testing, and documenting the status of all incoming raw materials and finished products. You will also support production processes, manage inventory of laboratory and related supplies, and ensure equipment is properly maintained. Additionally, you will keep all documentation up to date, including specification sheets, Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS), Kosher certifications, and nutritional information for both raw materials and finished products.
Responsibilities- Sample and test raw materials, approve or reject based on results; notify Production and Purchasing immediately and report rejection in writing.
- Retest raw materials as needed, approve or reject, and follow the same notification procedure.
- Obtain and maintain Kosher certifications, specification sheets, MSDS, nutrient information, allergen claims, and certificates of analysis per specifications.
- Test prospective suppliers’ raw material samples, report results to Purchasing, and maintain raw material specification sheets.
- Ensure adherence to all management systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSSC 22000) and the company's Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
- Test finished products, approve or reject. If rejected, determine salvageability, inform Production of salvage actions, or provide written disposal instructions if unsalvageable.

- Bachelor’s degree in food science, biology, or chemistry (degree requirement may be waived at management discretion).
- Good communication skills and basic PC knowledge (MS Word, Excel).
- Excellent organizational, computer, and analytical skills.
- Computer proficiency in all MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Self‑motivated, self‑starting team player with strong interpersonal skills and respect for others.
