Location:

Weir Minerals, St. Louis, MO (Onsite)

The Quality Manager will drive business to our quality strategy of zero defects, developing and administering quality control programs, supervising and directing quality team members, maintaining metrics, and ensuring prompt responses to customer quality concerns.

• Administer QMS:
  Develop and maintain a quality management system and metrics, communicating results monthly to management.
• Oversee Quality Specifications:
  Develop quality control plans and process control procedures to meet specifications for raw materials, processes, and finished products.
• Customer and Supplier Relations:
  Consult with customers and suppliers on quality issues, ensuring coordination of quality procedures across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Supervise and manage personnel:
  Lead QC staff, machine‑shop inspection personnel, and inventory personnel, providing training and assistance for growth and development.
• Commit to zero harm safety culture.

• 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Experience managing a quality team.
• ISO 9001 experience.
• Degree in Engineering preferred.
