Quality Technician (3rd Shift)

We're hiring a Quality Technician to support food safety and product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for:

Candidates with experience in Quality, QA/QC, GMP-regulated manufacturing, food production, or laboratory environments

Recent graduates with a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or another science field who have basic lab experience and want to build a career in Quality

** No degree is required for candidates with relevant industry experience!

• Collect samples from production lines and perform quality inspections
• Conduct basic laboratory testing on food products and ingredients
• Monitor GMPs, sanitation practices, and food safety standards
• Document test results and complete quality records
• Calibrate and verify basic quality equipment
• Identify quality issues and communicate findings to production teams
• Support audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Help ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements

Option 1:
Experience-Based

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, food manufacturing, laboratory work, or a GMP/FDA-regulated environment
• Knowledge of GMPs, quality systems, inspections, or documentation practices

OR

Option 2:
Entry-Level Science Graduate

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related scientific field
• Basic laboratory experience through coursework, internships, research, or previous employment
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during the shift
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

• Initial training on 1st shift (approximately 4 weeks)
• Permanent schedule on 3rd shift
• Rotating 2-on / 2-off schedule
• Every other weekend required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
