This position is contingent upon contract award

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Lead will identify and proactively prevent issues that can detract from or degrade contract performance on a government work site. The QA Lead implements a contractor project quality control program to ensure quality outcome, training, and government customer requirements are met with regard to records management, document processing, handling, correspondence, and delivery; document scanning, photocopying, and conversion; document data entry, data analysis, tracking, temporary storage of government records;

communication; and facilities support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collect and maintain records confirming all contractor personnel have completed required training
  • Ensure services are performed to government customer standards
  • Develop procedures to identify and prevent occurrences of defective services
  • Develop and oversee procedures to remediate any processes where acceptable quality levels are not being met
  • Implement the quality system, the quality records, and summary reports on quality for operation and program management review
  • Analyze quality data collected and recommend related changes to the Site Manager
  • Ensure all site personnel are trained in the quality aspects of their job
  • Manage corrective action requests and error transmittal reports for timely resolution and document the final disposition for quality issues
  • Recommend changes regarding quality control
  • Coordinate quality performance and customer quality service issues with government personnel and Contractor's Site Manager
  • Provide guidance and implementation of the contractor's Quality Control program onsite

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years' work experience working at a record facility
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and reasoning skills
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain accuracy of less than one percent error rate for data and/or file operations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Read, write, and communicate using the English language at a level sufficient to perform job functions
  • Skilled in the use of standard computer software applications
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • Ability to meet the security requirements for obtaining a badge (i.e., National Agency Checks with Inquiries)
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and employment background check
  • Ability to pass a fit-for-duty test
  • Ability to perform in a labor-intensive environment (see physical demands below)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • NARA records management training
  • Experience operating a pallet jack, order picker, counterbalance, and/or reach and turret truck
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes

Schedule:

  • Facility hours 6:00am - 6:00pm
  • Shift 1 6:00 - 2:30
  • Shift 2 9:30 - 6:00

Working Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Normally subjected to inside (warehouse) environmental conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Adherence to OSHA guidelines is mandatory, and as such, donning of protective equipment/gear may be required.

Physical Demands (including but not limited to):
