Postdoctoral Research Associate
The Vindigni Lab is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on the mechanisms of DNA replication stress response to chemo therapeutics. Our group focuses on DNA replication and repair, and the roles of these pathways in cancer initiation, progression and response to chemotherapy and immunotherapy. We recently identified new pathways by which replication responds to DNA-damaging chemo therapeutics and provided insights on how to target these pathways to increase chemotherapeutic sensitivity.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will have the opportunity to acquire and develop new skills, including application of state-of-the-art imaging techniques to study perturbations in replication fork dynamics genome-wide at single-molecule resolution. They will also have the opportunity to work closely within a wide network of basic research and clinical collaborators and communicate results to the scientific community through conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications, while working in a supportive, highly collaborative and energetic environment.
In addition to high-quality research facilities, career and professional development training for postdoctoral researchers is provided through the Career Center, Teaching Center, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, and campus groups. The postdoctoral research associate will have opportunities to acquire and develop new skills, work closely with the PI and collaborators.
