Responsibilities- Fragrance Creation:
Utilize your technical expertise in GC/MS to develop fragrances based on industry standards and national brand models. - Quality Assessment:
Conduct detailed evaluations of internal and external aroma chemicals to ensure their quality and suitability for application. - Olfactory Expertise:
Utilize strong sensory skills and extensive knowledge of fragrance regulations, raw material analysis, and technologies such as GC and GCMS. - Equipment Expertise: assist the team to maintain GC/MS equipment.
- Team Representation:
Serve as a representative of the perfumery team in meetings, forums, and industry events, showcasing expertise and supporting collaboration. - Industry Insight:
Maintain a deep understanding of perfumery raw materials, market trends, and regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance and innovation.
- Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, fragrance or any other relevant discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience as a Technical Perfumer in the Fragrance Industry.
- Demonstrated success in various fragrance applications (personal care, home care, fine fragrance).
- Knowledge of analytical tools like Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) to analyze and develop fragrances.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Exceptional Olfactory evaluation skills and working knowledge of natural essential oils and aromatic perfumery materials.
- Expert in multitasking, problem-solving, and time management while working in a fast-paced environment.
